Jumping Up and Over Greeting
Jumping up is normal canine behaviour, motivated by a want to greet you face to face and have a good sniff. It is excitement and an effective means of getting attention. Appropriate greeting behaviours and impulse control skills need to be taught in order to dampen the desire to be overjoyed and to socialise in an over enthusiastic manner.
