Not coming when called can be frustrating and frightening if it occurs in a busy environment which could cause your dog to be injured or lost. There are lots of distractions which may a dog to loose focus.
The trick is to establish recall methods which allow your dog to recognise the value of your call and how good behaviour will be rewarded.
