Appointment Commitment and Cancellation Policy

Training appointments with The Dog Man® are booked in advance and reserved exclusively within a carefully managed diary.

Because a limited number of clients are accepted at any one time, appointments are often scheduled several weeks ahead. Preparation also takes place prior to the programme beginning in order to review the case and plan the training approach.

For this reason, once training dates have been agreed and confirmed, those appointments are considered fixed diary commitments.

Clients are therefore asked to ensure that they are confident of their availability before confirming training dates.

Client Cancellations

If a scheduled training session is cancelled by the client for any reason, the appointment will normally be treated as forfeited.

Because the time has been reserved exclusively within the training diary, cancelled appointments cannot normally be replaced or rescheduled.

Where a programme consists of multiple sessions, the training will continue using the remaining scheduled appointments only.

This policy ensures fairness across all clients and allows the training diary to be managed responsibly.

Trainer Availability

The Dog Man® makes every effort to honour all confirmed training appointments.

On the rare occasion that it becomes necessary to rearrange an appointment due to illness or other unavoidable circumstances, the session will be rescheduled at the earliest reasonable opportunity.

If You Need to Notify a Cancellation

If it becomes necessary to cancel an appointment, clients must notify The Dog Man® in writing as soon as possible.
