PUPPY
TRAINING SESSION
This structured four-hour programme is designed to give your puppy the strongest possible start — or to reset early-stage mistakes before they become long-term habits.
Ideally, foundation training begins from day one. In many cases, responsible breeders introduce early structure before a puppy even leaves for their new home. However, the most important stage begins once the puppy enters your environment.
Whether your puppy is 8 weeks old or 5–6 months and beginning to test boundaries, early behavioural structure is critical.
The programme is typically delivered across two 2-hour sessions. The first session focuses heavily on owner understanding — how puppies learn, how behaviours are reinforced (often unintentionally), and how structure should be applied. Practical exercises are introduced in short, manageable stages so the puppy is not overwhelmed.
The second session consolidates learning, builds application and introduces controlled real-world work where appropriate.

What Puppy Training Is Really About
- Puppy training is not about rushing through commands.
- It is about installing foundation.
We focus on:
- Understanding learning principles
- Preventing reinforcement errors
- Building food value and engagement
- Establishing boundaries in a modern, reward-based way
- Developing early impulse control
- Structuring recall and lead foundations
- Working with breed tendencies — not against them
Many puppy owners struggle not because they lack effort, but because they receive too much conflicting information. Advice from television, books, social media and well-meaning friends often leads to inconsistency.
Clarity prevents confusion.
When early behaviour is structured correctly, later correction is rarely necessary. Address the roots properly and surface problems do not continue to return.

When Should Puppy Coaching Begin?
Coaching can begin from 7–8 weeks of age once your puppy has settled into the home.
However, this programme is equally suited to slightly older puppies (4–6 months) where early issues such as nipping, over-excitement, pulling or poor recall are beginning to emerge.
Early reset is far easier than adolescent correction.
